Hi, I'm Junfeng Liu, I came from China. This is my first year in Digital Media program. I recevied bachlor's degree of Economy from Arizona State University, since I'm gamer and I wanna to work as game designer for furture career, espically level designer. I gained some experience of level design and system design from internships. In my free time, I used Unity to develop my own simple game demo. And currently I'm still learning Unity in my free time.
From my perspective, NPC design is one of the most important catagories in game development. A good standard NPC should have its own knowledge and emotional express which could enhance player's experience. And I wanna to try the method differently, using AI to control the NPC's dialog and behavior make it more realistic not like generated by scripts. The initial goal for this project is to create a tool that let AI to control NPC's behavior and figure, and I could use this tool in my future demo instead of develop a behavoir tree system for NPC, and gain experience of processing 3D character (I mostly deal with 2D character).
